Experiences, Museums, and History
Our spectacular Town Hall building is houses numerous historical film props and sets as well as an 1800’s mercantile in the left museum wing. Explore and learn!
Our Town Hall features an authentic recreation of an 1800’s Wild West County Courthouse.
The Children’s Museum and play space is located in the right wing of our Town Hall in our classic bank set. This quiet space allows parents to take a load off whilst the littles immerse themselves in dress-ups and wild west roleplay.
Learn about the rich history of Old Tucson Studios and the majestic western films that were created here. View original costumes and several props used in movies filmed on-site at Old Tucson in this museum.
With its Old West aesthetic, this classic building (made famous in the Three Amigos) and its low-ceiling interior is a favorite filming location. During Wild West Day Park why not pull up a chair in our mini staged saloon and learn to play the classic Old West gambling game Faro.
This rare replica of a one-room schoolhouse from the 1800s allows you to imagine what it was like to be taught early elementary school instruction. Our Old School House preserves the unique history of the evolution of education and represents how children were taught during the time Arizona was still just a territory prior to becoming the 48th state of the union on February 14, 1912.
Get a glimpse of an old-fashioned sheriff’s office and holding cell that some unsavory characters have called home. Make sure to snap a few photos behind bars while you’re inside! Maybe you’ll find a clue as to why the sheriff’s daughter is missing.
This authentic railroad station was donated by the Southern Pacific Railroad and moved to Old Tucson in 1960.
